Join us for a unique workshop that will use words, movement, images, and sound to take your Brazilian Portuguese much further. Expect to:
- Improve your listening skills
- Practice your conversational skills
- Learn colloquial expressions and build vocabulary in general
What is Aula Viva?
A common life situation is performed to you by the actor/instructor:
- WATCH a short performance
- ASK questions about the scene: vocabulary, colloquial language, grammar, and cultural aspects of the story. Let your curiosity speak up!
- WATCH the performance one more time; the second time around you get to understand much more
- CREATE and PRACTICE: work in small groups to practice what you have just learned
This interactive, creation-based method brings to life everything that you have learned as a student of Portuguese.
