Songs in Portuguese on my Flight Home

Last week I flew home (Recife, Brazil) to visit my family. I was pleasantly surprised to find a good selection of songs in Portuguese on the plane entertainment system. Their World Music channel had a total of 21 songs, 10 of which were in Portuguese from different places in the world. Below is a widget with these songs. Place your cursor at the center of the widget and you will see a list of the songs. Click on a song to listen to its sample. You will also be able to purchase the MP3 dowloads from Amazon if you wish to do so.

Unfortunately, there was one song that I could not find on Amazon: Marejado, by Geraldo Vargas.

Finally, a note about Lura: She was born in Lisbon and her parents are from Cape Verde. She sings many of her songs in Cape Verdean Creole, so do not feel surprised if you cannot understand the lyrics :)
