Spring is up and the warm weather makes me crave some cajá juice.

Now, you might be asking yourself what cajá is. I will tell you, it’s a delicious, small, oval-shaped, yellow fruit that makes refreshing juice and ice cream. I made some research and found out that in English cajá is called hog-plum.

You see the picture above, you read my words, but I tell you, no picture or words can describe the sweetness of this little fruit. You will also get some great suggestions from Luciana on her post about Fuits you must try in Brazil. I bet that after reading this post, you will be craving for some fruits or fruit juice as well.

If you have ever been to Brazil, you probably had the opportunity to see, smell, touch and taste some tropical fruits. If you haven’t been there yet, please do it, and make sure you try some of the best tropical fruits in the world.

So, to make sure you will be able to try cajá and many other fruits when you travel, I created a set of flashcards with pictures of fruits that you will find in Brazil, and around the world.

Check out the flashcards below to indulge yourself in a great variety of fruits.

Tip to use these flashcards: To see the English word on one side and the Portuguese translation on the other, disable (uncheck) "Both Sides" on the top right of the cards. Click to flip the card.

You can play games online with our flashcards. Visit Street Smart Brazil on Quizlet and choose any of our flashcard sets. Then choose a game under Play Games below the first flashcard. Divirta-se!
