I don't know how heated this topic will get. But next year will be Australia's 2nd time to make it into the World cup and I'm a little excited about this but I think our team may be a little 'tired' to keep up with some of the super powers of the sport. With over half the current squad nearly 30 I think we will do ok but I'm not holding out for a win. We did, however tie with Italy last year, just before being knocked out by Brazil, oh the irony of it now I am learning portuguese! Anyway I'm interested to see how it goes...

All I can say is it'll be really confusing when Australia plays Brazil.  Just look at their shirts . . .

Too right!
Although our shorts are a dark green and yours blue. But it doesn't make it much easier!

Well I just had a look at our draw the otherday, it's not too bad. Not quite the 'group of death' that Brazil pulled. We got Germany, Serbia and Ghana.
But just so we don't get confused with Brazil, our kit has changed! New 'home' kit... not so confusing.

Hey Species, I like the new shirt!

You know, a lot of Brazilians are not happy the Dunga, nosso capitão. I look forward to watching the games and yelling "Dá-lhe, Brasil" :)
