Favorite Airline from US to Brazil?
What is your favorite airline to fly on from where you are in the US (or otherwise) to where you want to go in Brazil? I had a really great experience on TAM, but now AA flies direct from Miami to Recife, where my wife's family is from.
TAM Advantages
-Brazilian airline--you can practice your Portugese on the way there!
-Free beer and wine on the way there
-Good food
-Airline miles shared with United
-Newer, Airbus planes
AA Advantages (no pun intended with their mileage program)
-Best mileage program of any US airline IMHO
-Fly direct to more destinations in Brazil
-Ease of connecting flights from Miami to whereverelse you are based out of in the US
Yep, TAM Linhas Aéreas is a Brazilian airline, but they use AIrbus planes, which are made in Europe. Here's what wikipedia has on Tam: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TAM_Airlines
But they don't fly to Australia? How are you guys gonna ever meet up with your brothers from across the big pond!
I like the suggestions of the members. In my opinion TAM is better because it has some good advantages.
