What US beer is most equivalent to Skol!
I know a lot of Brazilians and Brazil enthusiasts who are looking for something like Skol in the US. In fact I was looking up analytics on this site and we've even gotten hits from searches for "buy Skol in the US". I've found Xingu here, but not Skol. Do you know a beer in the US that is very similar? If so, tell us! It will help those craving for an authentic cerveja estupidamente gelada :)
I did recently meet a Brazilian living in the US who swore by Land Shark Lager from Florida. He said that is the closest he could get to the beer he enjoyed in Brazil. So, if you are on the East Coast, you can probably give that a try. As for where I'm based in California, I'm still searching.
My boyfriend usually appeases himself with Miller Lite - not the same, but comes close enough for him! If you find where to get it from online, please do share.
