I had a great time playing Battlefield Bad Company 2 today.  When you press "Play Now" on the front screen of the game, it is supposed to bring you to the nearest physical server that is reasonably full.  Since that functionality rarely works, I ended up on a server in Brazil, where everyone except for one Argentinian guy was a "Brazuka".  Let me tell you that those guys are hardcore, and they know how to play a good "rush match", and have good sportsmanship.  In addition to playing, i got to work on my Portuguese and suprise them that a Gringo from San Francisco was on their server chatting in Portuguese.  I even learned a couple of new words in Brazilian computerspeak, although I'm hoping someone can help me because I already forgot and can't find a translation for the 2nd word.
The first word I wanted to learn was the word for "game", since at the end of a good match in English we usually all say "GG" meaning "good game".  I found out from the guys on there that even on computer games, it is "jogo".  I said "bom jogo" at the end of the match, but all the Brazilians said "gg".  I guess the English term stuck worldwide.
The second word was when someone said "e uma s___ hardcore" (i say s___ because i forgot what the actual word was).  I said "O que e s____" and they told me it meant "Server".  After my game I went all over the internet to find the word, but all the translaters, etc say "servador".  I know they didn't say "servador" because I would have easily guessed that meant server.  Anyone know another, geeky, slang word for server in Portuguese?
gp (good post) :)

Sorry but I can't help you with that... I am interested to know what platform you were playing on, PC, Xbox or PS3? I was thinking of buying this game because the clan I am in on Xbox live are very military orientated and this is the main focus of their online presence.
Anyway was a gp

Cool its a good game.  I'm on the PC version.  It has some bugs but it seems to be getting better as the patches come out.  It is probably more stable on the Xbox (less variation in hardware).
